"We of the Left Hand" - Marco M.

We of the Left Hand

As some know, Tantra is considered to be divided into the “right hand” (Dakshina Marga) and the “left hand” (Vama Marga). Some ignorant people equate the left hand with a sexual approach to spirituality. The truth is that the left hand represents a magical and esoteric approach, which I would describe as genuinely spiritual in relation to the universe, whereas the “right hand” represents a more dogmatic and intellectual approach.

As a school, we teach how to teach yoga in a Western way. Because rightly, the demand of the moment is this, and our students need to be able, if they wish, to use Yoga as it is required in the context in which they live.

However, outside of the educational path, we try to give the proper weight and emphasis to the esoteric, contemplative, magical, and ritualistic aspects. The left-hand path is the road that does not exist; it is for those who wish to explore the unknown. We lead you to the door to this dimension. Through many initiatives and stimuli, we try to make you understand that every true explorer takes risks. It's a bit like the choice between the blue pill and the red pill. But it is up to you to decide; you can also continue pretending to live in the mental and inauthentic world, but we, those of the left hand, will continue to invite you to cross the door and finally choose the red pill.
