“I save no one.” - Marco M.
I save no one
This is the mantra every teacher, instructor, and even master should repeat endlessly to themselves. Clarity on this fundamental point prevents unnecessary misunderstandings and expectations. It prevents the teacher/instructor from inflating their ego with false qualities and useless benevolence.
It also prevents toxic dependency relationships because anyone who truly wants to free themselves from the slavery of the biological machine's automatisms must do so with their own strength. A Master is not someone who carries you on their shoulders, but simply someone who inspires and encourages you on a journey that everyone must undertake by their own choice and on their own.
Awareness, like love, has neither direction nor intention. Those who live embracing their shadow permeate their own life and that of those around them authentically and spontaneously. Everything else consists of egoic games played by lost characters who need to convince themselves they are useful and necessary to others, ending up like blind people leading other blind people.
