"Belongings" - Marco M.
Belongings
The Nothing advances, nourished by desperate solitude in which a good part of the planet now gropes. Instead of dedicating themselves to creating sacred space for genuine salvation, people prefer to blame their existential pain on anything “external,” ranging from media-driven wars with heroes and villains to the neighbor next door.
Desperate solitudes, trapped in tech apartments with single portions, dream of finding Prince Charming on Tinder. In doing so, they forget to nurture what truly has value, often because they are no longer able to recognize it.
The only possible salvation is to abandon the selfish, commercialized false idea of freedom. We must return to thinking of the couple as an indissoluble “We” and view the family as the greatest possible project for profound fulfillment. By creating small tribal communities with those whose hearts still beat, we can prioritize the collective good as the only salvation in this apocalypse of feeling.
True freedom lies in belonging to an entity that surpasses the individual.
