PURPOSE
The purpose of the workshop is to give technical cues, preparing the student to work on handstands in different ways and with different shapes.
A dynamic practice aimed at going upside down, respecting one's body and based on one's own experience, guided by the desire to get involved and experiment. Inversions are a world that leads us to confront our limits and our fears, because they distort the normal point of view on the world and on what surrounds us.
DIPLOMA
Handstands is open to everyone and you no previous experience is required nor have a diploma as a Yoga teacher. At the end of the course we issue a Certificate of Attendance.
SCHEDULE

Session 1
In the first session we will focus on basic inversions, starting from headstands (an excellent study also for those who already have a free handstand and wish to experiment new shapes with the legs) up to handstand and we will go through the techniques to reach a correct pose with the aim of feeling good and respecting your body, adjusting the work according to the physical and technical preparation of each participant.
Thefirst part of the class willfocus on strengthening the core and shoulders and warming up the wrists, shoulders and legs.

Sessione 2
Inversions are a critical step for most of those who practice Vinyasa Yoga because often you do not have the technique to stand vertically: the consequence is an imbalance that creates frustration, pain and from which you do not know how to get out. The focus of this second session will be on the study of the different handstand climbs and various shapes once you reach the upside down balance.
Finally we will unleash our creativity by bringing each participant to find his own personal sequence upside down. We will end with some stretching with a focus on the muscle groups most stressed during the workshop.
BIO
My first favorite word: movement. The second: Upside-down. In Italian: sottosopra. I am dynamic and sunny and I believe that movement is the essence of life. After training in the world of dance, 13 years ago I began to study aerial disciplines in various schools in Turin and surroundings and I've been teaching for 8 years : my specialties are aerial dance and hammock . During my career I became passionate about the world of handstand that I currently teach and continue to study in Turin. Three years ago I graduated as teacher of Vinyasa Yoga RYT 200 with Hari Om school and the following year a teacher of Yo Volo (aerial hammock). On the mat I combine the softness and calm of yoga practice with the strength, physical and mental, of inversions. I love to put myself upside down and I love to find in each student the key to help him overcome limits and fears.
