The petty teacher State doesn’t like that you live in the woods

The story is well known; I already mentioned it in a post a few weeks ago, and now it has been all over the news for days.

I begin by noting the absurdity of taking children away from parents who, through a conscious choice, want them to grow up with an alternative perspective compared to the toxic and destructive environment in which their peers live. As far as I’m concerned, the judge who arranged all of this should be immediately removed and prosecuted for child abduction.

My primary focus, however, lies elsewhere.

Firstly, it is notable that in a society increasingly advocating for “green” initiatives, where this concept often leads to new taxes, regulations, and profitable ventures through the inflated pricing of “organic,” “ecological,” and “sustainable” products, individuals who genuinely adopt a natural lifestyle are paradoxically penalized.

Secondly, in an era heralded as unprecedented in its freedom, parental responsibility for education is increasingly being usurped by the State. This is the same State that can, without warning, restrict personal movement, mandate business closures, compel vaccinations with substances deemed toxic, or require permits for even minor home renovations, progressively eroding personal ownership. These measures are invariably presented as being for one’s safety and well-being.

Finally, the discourse consistently appears to be dominated by self-proclaimed experts: psychologists, pedagogues, and social service professionals. People, in short, with their heads full of instructions, ideologically shaped, who have no direct and authentic experience of life.

The “petty teacher” State is increasingly present in the private sphere, which should indeed remain private, and the responsibility for child-rearing, for better or worse, should reside primarily with the family, rather than being dictated by societal norms or educational institutions.

I anticipate that while the children may eventually be returned to their family, this will likely require significant compromises to their lifestyle, reinforcing the notion that genuine freedom exists only within a boundary.
