“Alchemical Transformation” - Marco M.

Alchemical Transformation

Easter, but also spring itself and particularly the equinox, represents the awakening of the vital force after winter sleep. This fundamental passage was celebrated many centuries before Christianity glorified it in the popular Easter day.

Winter and darkness represent a compulsory passage through the underworld of one's ego and subconscious in order to then be able to rise vertically, in recovered purity, towards the luminous peaks of the spirit. Essentially, light is the alchemical result—the transformation or sublimation—of raw matter (unconscious thoughts and emotions brought to light through presence and observation).

Like every passage, or journey, suffering is part of the path and must be accepted for what it is: a necessary element for understanding. Light does not exist without darkness, just as order exists only because of chaos.

The conscious being embraces both, moving comfortably in the darkness guided by the light.

Happy rebirth to everyone.
