It's true, here you get the feeling the time slows down to let you breathe, yet it passes so quick that “tomorrow” it will be time to go home and start again.

It’s been a few weeks since I arrived in the earthly heaven called Cascina Bellaria.

Far away from the city frenzy, from the meltdowns of those who fuss about “making it” and the arrogance of those who believe to be on the trail, I find myself immersed in a thoroughly unique space-time bubble. I don’t miss my usual comforts (ok, perhaps I miss my sofa a little), I don’t miss the chaos, I don’t miss the happy hour in the city centre, nor I miss the penetrating and unrepentant pollution.

The only thing I miss is teaching, but here I learn so much and I know I will go home richer than before and ready to share the experience. Thus, I enjoy the moment, the passionate red sunsets, the multi-coloured insects, the full moon playing hide and seek through the clouds, I enjoy the yoga classes, always so diverse and awesome, practiced with commitment yet without taking ourselves too seriously. I enjoy my two gorgeous roommates, Elisa and Valentina who never fail to make me smile and inspire me. I enjoy the shifts at the bar, when havoc breaks loose and we dance around it.

It's true, here you get the feeling the time slows down to let you breathe, yet it passes so quick that “tomorrow” it will be time to go home and start again.

This is the beauty of it, let yourself being carried by the stream, with gratitude and with the awareness that things do happen though you need to do your part, abandonment is active.

Abandonment is, somehow, action.
