Unlikely and sadly, rather than raising the level of consciousness and strengthen the individuals, looks like the popularity of the “discipline” contributed to maintain the occurring flatness.
It is renown that everything change, and faster and faster in nowadays society.
Things quickly change in the Yoga world as well, specially in the actual and “modern” phase which popularity and easy access massed its contents and, alas! also the ones who took upon the challenge to teach it.
Unlikely and sadly, rather than raising the level of consciousness and strengthen the individuals, looks like the popularity of the “discipline” contributed to maintain the occurring flatness and that the “hundreds” of new facilitators without a true “spiritual path” as background and all of a sudden promoted to “Yoga Teachers”, didn’t do anything else but contributing to the actual and spreading unawareness.
As a Yoga “Teacher” I ask myself: will I try to teach honestly or will I try to sell some bullshit just to keep up with the business?
In my opinion Yoga and Honesty go hand by hand therefore there aren’t many alternatives.
One is to be a “whore”, at least one of the most “honest” professions in the dark side of the moon.
Another could be becoming a salesman for the new McDonald(Trump) Burghers pretending to sell them as health-food and probably earning more money.
Another could be going into Politics where at least the playground is clear since everyone is just selling bullshit.
The “Fourth Way” might be diplomacy, just keeping two things going at the same time.
The fifth could be retiring as a farmer or a shepherd, just tending plants and sheep, no assholes!
The last!… I like this, I like to dance… then is to keep dancing and hopefully find someone to move in synchronicity… sheep can wait!
I invite everyone to think about it… actually I invite everyone to dance. Let’s dance!
