Music is the song of the human soul manifested through instruments conceived by human intelligence and craftsmanship if not by natural endowments.

It’s late afternoon in the middle of the jungle, I’m swinging in my hammock reading a delightful Hieronymus Bosch novel by Michael Connelly; Harry is retired from LAPD, taking Sax’s lessons, but still privately investigating an unsolved case…and then I hear a Sax playing, not from the book or my imagination; indeed and to start with, it feels incongruous with the chatting of parrots, the howling of monkeys, the singing of toucans and the everlasting buzz of the cicadas, but eventually it blends in and I find myself enjoying the notes reverberating throughout the dense vegetation and resonating with the natural sounds…I hear Music!

I deeply appreciate, and lulled by it I understand once more the immense value of music brought by humanity to this world.
Music is the song of the human soul manifested through instruments conceived by human intelligence and craftsmanship if not by natural endowments.

Like aircrafts are a way to fly, or vessels are to cruise water, or scuba gear and submarines to explore it under, so musical instruments are a way to explore and express our inner depths as no other means can do.

Music expresses peace, anger, resentment, beatitude, unsettlement, love and care…but still it’s Music.

I’m frightened by the news of a world going down the drain by the sounds of Super Non Nuclear Bombs, Nuclear Bombs, Strategic Missiles, AK47, Machine Guns, Handguns and the lot…who wants to hear such dissonant sounds proposed by the “Masters of War” (as Bob Dylan was singing)?… I wonder!

Let’s hear Music…

…and, I almost forgot! We can hear Music from the Heart, the stomach, the intestine, the Brain and the Soul, from the First to the Seventh or Twentieth First Chakra…the BlissBeat is upcoming…
