The degree of happiness of our lives is not given by the amount of problems we face but by the attitudes we have towards them.
Our days are full of "problems" to solve, and small or big difficulties. Like it or not, it is not something you can avoid, it's life. Whatever life we choose to live, we will always have this variable. The degree of happiness of our lives is not given by the amount of problems we face but by the attitudes we have towards them. We can be overwhelmed by them and see them as a curse finding oursevels in a constant state of stress and fear, or we can decide that they are great opportunities to know us better, to practice, to test.
"Problems" are actually a real training, a way to practice and train. As you choose to do sports activities, so the "problems" are an exercise to deal with with a sense of challenge and pleasure. That's why I choose a life that gives me so many problems and more and more difficulties to practice just like a surfer who as he gets better he wants to play with ever bigger waves!
